A dream now come true with the new Chronomat GMT, a travel watch from Breitling boasting unprecedented user friendliness. The wearer need only pull out the crown and turn it forwards or backwards to move between timezones in an outstandingly simple manner. Equipped with the new Breitling Caliber 04, entirely developed and produced within the company workshops, the Chronomat GMT is one of the rare chronographs to offer such a smoothly functional dual timezone system. With its exclusive design and its dial featuring subtle three-dimensional effects, it is the new benchmark for all those who want to experience high performances in all parts of the world. |
CHANGING TIMEZONE To adjust the 12-hour hand to local time, the user simply pulls the crown out to position 2 and turns it in either direction by the number of notches corresponding to the number of hours composing the time difference. The date display is indexed to this 12-hour hand and changes automatically if required, both backwards or forwards. The red-tipped hand keeps track of home time on a 24-hour basis, thus enabling one to distinguish between day and night and avoiding the risk of waking family members, friends or business contacts by phoning them when they are sound asleep. And if the traveler makes stopovers in several different timezones, he need only repeat the same operation on each occasion and then, upon returning home, reset the two hands to the same time. It’s hard to imagine anything simpler! |

The understated and powerful case is topped with a broad bezel bearing a raised knurled motif inspired by Bentley control buttons. equipped with transparent sapphire crystal casebacks, these top-class instruments reveal a truly unique vision through the reverse side, in the shape of anoscillating weight evoking the wheel rims of the new Bentley continental gt. Grand Tourers Turn White They were already distinguished by their size, noticeably more compact than those of the other Breitling for Bentley models, and suited to all wrists. With the new special all-white “Ice” versions, the Bentley GT and Bentley GT Racing chronographs now also display a look that is well off the beaten track. This original and sophisticated appearance features an Ice White dial – an exclusive Bentley livery colour – teamed with a rubber strap in the same shade.The faces of these exceptional sports models, enhanced by rimmed counters, evoke the dashboards of the finest Bentley Grand Tourers.The bezel with its knurled raised motif is reminiscent of the characteristic control buttons of the prestigious British carmaker. while the even more sophisticated Bentley GT Racing Ice version is distinguished by finishes alternating between satin-brushed upper surfaces and polished sides; and its caseback bears a medallion with the outline of the famous Bentley Continental GT, the epitome of power and elegance representing the quintessence of the Grand Tourer tradition.These two watches are driven by the selfwinding Breitling Calibre 13B chronograph movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC and equipped with a calendar displaying the day and date through a large twin aperture at 3 o’clock.The bidirectional rotating bezel serves to activate the “variable tachometer”, a world-exclusive Breitling feature.When used in conjunction with the chronograph, this system enables the user to measure mean speed whatever the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached.
