This watch-making masterpiece combines two technical feats. The El Primero
movement which is the world’s only chronograph with a heart beating at
36,000 vibrations per hour, enabling tenth of a second precision and the
chance to wear a tourbillion which, by enclosing the escapement within a
carriage, releases the watch from the laws of gravity.
But dreams soar far beyond techniques… So the tourbillon bridge is
replaced by a diamond star, reflected on the crown, while the exquisite 40
mm case is enriched with 117 baguette-cut diamonds and 112 round diamonds
adorn the dial. Against a shimmering mother-of-pearl background, the
numerals spring to life, interlacing and intertwining with each other.
Freed from their sub-dials, the chronograph indicators become stars in
their turn, as if time had suddenly broken free from the tangible and was
preparing to fly. This lyrical creativity is echoed on the back of the
watch, thanks to the diamonds delicately set on the oscillating weight.
